Monitoring ACTeon’s footprint
ACTeon is actively aiming at reducing its environmental impact and reliance on natural resources. Very specifically:
- It is furnishing its offices with low cost/mainly wood products that can be entirely recycled (heating);
- It is promoting the use of public transport (systematic use of trains and local public transports for missions for a single person;
- It is initiating actions for reducing the number of missions per year – organizing telephone conferences, favouring longer missions in countries (e.g. one mission of two weeks versus two missions of one week each);
- It uses primarily recycled office products, making best use of papers and used material before disposal;
- It collects waste separately (paper, glass, plastic & other waste) and ensures their safe disposal (in particular for batteries, used printer cartridges…);
To monitor its activities, ACTeon has establish self-monitoring activities for paper use and of CO2 emissions linked to transport. For more information, click here.
