ACTeon attended the second European User Board Meeting and the first Advisory Board Meeting of the Clim2Power project, which aims at developing a EU wide web based Climate Service addressing the impact of climate on hydro, wind, and solar power operation, electricity, heat and cooling demand, and the whole power system, at a seasonal and long-term timescales. The meeting took place in Brussels on February 12th & 13th 2019, in the presence of potential end-users. The first results of the project were presented, on seasonal forecast for hydropower production in the Austria-Germany power market, as well as climate impact on the EU power system.
