CONTEXT
The PAPI (Flood Prevention Action Programme) for the Seine and Marne in the Île-de-France region covers 312 municipalities. Flood risk awareness is a primary focus of its intervention strategy, mobilising a wide range of educational tools: school interventions, board games, role-playing games, urban walks, 3D models, educational brochures, promotional items, videos, information stands, large-scale maps, training sessions, etc. However, flood risk perception remains low or inaccurate among the majority of the population. This evaluation aims to improve the EPISEINE scheme’s tools and their dissemination, strengthen message adoption, and raise risk awareness.
OBJECTIVES
ACTeon – partnering with Test-Gece – is conducting a thorough evaluation of the EPISEINE scheme to identify areas for improvement, propose additional tools targeting other audiences, and enhance monitoring indicators:
- Assessment of EPISEINE scheme deployment, target audiences, and developed tools
- Analysis of survey results on flood risk perception in Île-de-France
- Evaluation of training programmes for local facilitators and elected officials
- Qualitative survey on selected educational resources
- Quantitative survey on digital tools
