Within the framework of the H2020 UNITED Project, ACTeon was responsible in developing and applying a Business Analysis Framework for multi-use offshore platforms.
The framework aims to assess if the multi-use concept is financially attractive, through conducting evaluations of business models for each pilot.

The main results show that:

  • Financial multi-use benefits are not always the motivating factors to engage in multi-use activities. Other environmental and social benefits could also motivate investors.
  • Multi-use activities can benefit from different synergies and reduce operating costs.
  • Multi-use activities can offer a wide variety of products and services and can target different target segments.
