Action areas
We are analysing the obstacles and levers to the dissemination of knowledge and innovations, as well as assessing the conditions for their upscaling. With a focus on both social and technological innovations and the associated processes, as well as transfers of knowledges between different actors, and ultimately science and policies, we provide in-depth insights into their functioning and find pathways for scaling up.
Development of knowledge transfer tools: We design educational and fun tools in close collaboration with experts and their environments. This includes the co-construction of workshops, events (online, face-to-face or hybrid) and concrete resources for knowledge transfer: serious games, videos, online courses, webinars, guidance notes or guides. ACTeon also works with international interfaces between science, policy and society, and helps to develop new ones.
Methodological development: we design economic, environmental, and social analysis tools to support the implementation of innovations and their upscalability across international borders, in line with policy objectives and local realities, working with local regions implementing innovations and all the way to the scale of the entire Europe.
